Hi there! I’m J.L. Rey, also known as Phlegeton, an artist and musician based in Bilbao, Spain. My work is heavily influenced by horror and sci-fi, and I have spent the past few years creating various musical projects, most notably as the vocalist and graphic designer for my band, Wormed. I am also well-known for my work as a digital illustrator, creating album covers and graphics for extreme metal bands.
My pseudonym is inspired by Greek mythology, specifically the river Phlegethon, one of the five rivers in the underworld.
I offer a range of services including conceptual images, cover artwork, 2D and 3D graphics, booklet layouts, packaging design, websites, merchandise design, and audio mastering. I specialize in combining digital and organic techniques to bring your ideas to life through visual media.
